Os Umutina pertencem à Aldeia Umutina, localizada no município de Barra do Bugres, Mato Grosso, que tem 500 resistentes famílias, sendo que na criação do território Umutina, em 1817, havia mil indígenas, de acordo com as primeiras histórias registradas nessa época.

A apresentação da dança tradicional dos jovens Umutina completou o cenário de fortalecimento em defesa da garantia dos direitos, tema da X Assembleia Ordinária da Coordenação das Organizações Indígenas da Amazônia Brasileira (COIAB), ocorrida de 26 a 29 de agosto, na Aldeia Umutina.

The Umutina belong to Umutina Village, located in the municipality of Barra do Bugres, Mato Grosso, which has 500 resistant families, and in the creation of the territory in 1817, Umutina had thousand Indians, according to the early stories recorded at this time. The presentation of traditional dance of young Umutina completed the scenario of strengthening in defense of rights, theme of the X ordinary Assembly of the Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian Amazon (COIAB), which took place from 26 to 29 August, 2013 in the village Umutina.

Jovens indígenas da etnia Umutina buscam revitalizar a sua cultura por meio de danças e cantos tradicionais, pintura corporal e o cotidiano da aldeia. A tradição Umutina não é diferente de outras tradições indígenas do Brasil, tanto na beleza e riqueza quanto no seu próprio histórico de extermínio cometidos pelos brancos que, de forma bruta e cruel, obrigaram os Umutina a abandonar sua língua materna e os costumes tradicionais, direitos reconquistados com a Constituição Federal de 1988.




Young indigenous ethnicity Umutina seek to revitalize their culture through traditional dancing and singing, body painting and the everyday life of the village. The Umutina tradition is no different from other indigenous traditions of Brazil, both in beauty and wealth and their own history of extermination perpetrated by whites who, gross and cruel manner, forced the Umutina to abandon their native language and traditional customs, reconquered rights with the Federal Constitution of 1988.

In spite of the fact that the nature of the following text has nothing in common with the Brazilian Indian People, we found it useful to mention that, in relation to this text, Indians are the only human race that indeed (indeed) respect Nature, taking from It only the necessary for their living, while they protect It  as  profound experts of Its laws and misteries they are! We also stress that Indians eat animals following their ancestral culture, which must not be questioned. To them our respect!

 
Apesar da natureza do seguinte texto não ter nada em comum com o Povo Indígena Brasileiro, pensamos ser útil mencionar que, em relação a este texto, Indios são a única raça humana que realmente (realmente) respeita a Natureza, tirando dela apenas o necessário para sua sobrevivência, enquanto protegem-na como profundos conhecedores de suas leis e mistérios! Também ressaltamos que os Índios comem animais seguindo sua cultura ancestral, que não deve ser questionada. A eles nosso respeito!

Matança de Baleias / Killing of Whales

Tudo na Natureza é rigorosamente funcional, matemático e sim, perfeito! Não é questão de se discutir sobre ter fé ou não nO Ser Supremo e Inconhecível que A creou. Basta ser minimamente inteligente para perceber a imensa grandeza do Universo, e nossa tamanha pequenez! Partindo deste ponto, deve-se perguntar por que continuam matando baleias sem se perguntar qual sua função nos mares, além do equilíbrio da cadeia alimentar. Não! Elas têm função muito mais nobre. Equilibram lenta e diariamente as placas tectônicas com as ondas de seus sonares, impedindo que elas se movam até gerar tsunames. Se a ciência oficial não sabe (ou não quer admitir), muitas outras ciências não-oficiais (graças por isso), já o sabem há muito. Não é questão de ter fé, é questão de estudo sem absolutamente desmerecer a Fé. Assim como acontece com as baleias, todos (todos) os animais prestam um serviço específico ao suposto superior Reino Humano. Basta observar, estudar e se chegará a conclusões assustadoras....de nós mesmos os "seres humanos". Hoje, somos nós os animais diante deles, que já evoluíram seu corpo emocional mais que os nossos, que ainda (ainda) comemos seus cadáveres!! O Vegetarianismo nos distancia da animalidade!

Everything in Nature is strictly functional, mathematician and yes, perfect! It's not a question of discussing about having faith or not in The Supreme Unknowable Being that created It. It is enough to be minimally intelligent to realize the immense greatness of the Universe, and our smallness before It. Starting from this point, one must ask why continue killing whales without asking what is their function on the seas, beyond the balance of the food chain. No! They have much more noble function. They balance daily and slowly the tectonic plates with the waves of their sonars, preventing them from moving and generate tsunamis. If the official science does not know (or won't admit it), many other unofficial Sciences (thanks for that), know that for long time. It's not a matter of having faith, it's a matter of study without absolutely belittle faith. As with the whales, all (all) animals provide a specific service to the alleged superior human realm. Just observe, study and come to scary conclusions .... of ourselves the "human beings". Today, we are the animals in front of them, which have evolved their emotional body more than ours, which still (still) ate their bodies!! Vegetarianism takes us away from animality!

Some days ago we were sad to think about the

situation of our Brazilian Indian People and just

after that we discovered that they have been

assisted by dentists, doctors of some specialities ,

and well treated, including with surgeries by the

“Espedicionários da Saúde” (http://www.eds.org.br).

The following photos say more than words.

This is not marketing about them (who don´t know
about these posts) just our recognition

and gratitude for the voluntary attitude of Love they took!!

They live on donations since 2004, they are civilians earning

nothing to save or improve the Brazilian Indian´s quality of life!

Alguns dias atrás estávamos tristes pensando na situação

do Povo Indígena Brasileiro e logo após descobrimos que

eles estão sendo assistidos por dentistas, doutores de

algumas especialidades, e bem tratados inclusive com

cirurgias pelos “Espedicionários da Saúde”

(http://www.eds.org.br). As fotos que seguem dizem

mais que palavras. Isto não é marketing sobre eles

(que não sabem destas postagens), apenas nosso

reconhecimento e agradecimento pela atitude voluntária

de Amor que eles tomaram! Eles vivem de doações

desde 2004, são civis que nada recebem para salvar

ou melhorar a qualidade de vida dos Índios Brasileiros!

A lua, essa grande, anda no céu, cercada de coloridos vagalumes. A outra, pequena,

caiu, ficou soterrada, há muito, muito tempo.

The moon, this big one, walks in the Sky, surrounded by small fire-flies. The other

one, small, fell down, was buried, many, many time ago.

All the 15 photos of Brazilian Indian People published
here, without commercial purposes, were taken in 1989 by
Rosa Gauditano/Fotograma. What have changed regarding
to the life of our Indians since then? They are continuously
disrespected in all ways. Their lives and lands have been
taken for centuries, their culture, rich and unique is being
lost everyday, but they have survived bravely! However,
their votes are precisely counted for political elections!
I put all my hope in the new generations, certainly less
cruel, more fair, intelligent and human .

aqui, sem interesse comercial, foram tiradas em 1989 por
Rosa Gauditano/Fotograma. O que mudou com relação à
vida dos nossos Indígenas desde então? Eles são
continuamente desrespeitados de todas as formas.
Suas vidas e terras têm sido tomadas por séculos, sua
cultura, rica e única está sendo perdida diariamente,
mas eles sobrevivem bravamente! Entretanto seus votos
são precisamente contados para as eleições políticas!
Coloco todas as minhas esperanças nas gerações futuras,
certamente menos cruéis, mais justas, inteligentes e humanas.

The sky is alive, it breathes, moves itself as people do, have humour. The

poison that lifts, hurts the sky, makes a wound on it skin.

Nossas casas são assim, como nosso corpo. A coluna sustenta e dá o

equilíbrio, as varas, como costelas abrigam o interior. As folhas, como a

pele, protegem do calor e do frio.

Our houses are like this, as our bodies. The column sustains and gives

the balance, the twigs, as ribs shelter the interior. The leaves, as the

skin, protect from heat and cold.

Tem muita festa e cerimônia de preparação para o menino se tornar

guerreiro. Com o padrinho ele aprende a tradição, o caminho do espírito.

There are a lot of parties and ceremonies to prepare the little boy turning

to a warrior. His godfather teaches him the tradition, the spirit´s path.

antepassados continua vivendo, fazendo festas, caçadas, cerimônias e

ensinando as novas gerações através do sonho.

This material world is a mirror of the other one where the spirits of

our ancestors continue living, making parties, huntings, ceremonies and

teaching the new generations through the dreams.
